We’re looking for a Software Engineer

What you’d be working on:

• Design, build and scale back-end systems
• Write high quality code in order to continuously ship value to customers
• Build long-running worker processes without memory-leaks
• Project leadership and technical mentorship for other engineers
• Write automated tests to ensure product quality
• Collaborate with other engineers to set the technical direction and plan technical debt reduction

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 4+ years of experience in building web-based software
• Is familiar with Agile software development methodologies
• Is willing to give and receive feedback
• Can communicate well in English
• Appreciates the (sometimes messy) collaborative and fast-paced startup work environment
• Has experience with (or is willing to learn):
  • REST API and message-driven development
  • NoSQL and key-value stores for data storage (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Familiarity with email protocols (SMTP, RFC822)
  • Experience working with time-series data
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Graylog, Grafana, Sentry and similar
  • Knowledge and experience of mitigating security threats
